Chuck Forman
Featured Artist
Chuck Forman is a nationally
acclaimed watercolorist specializing in nature subjects,
landscapes and seascapes. His paintings most often deal with
northern Michigan and the Great Lakes, including the Canadian
waters of the North Channel in Lake Huron. He is also an
accomplished illustrator who has worked with nationally known
clients since 1976. He is a winner of the New York Salmagundi Club
Award of Excellence and has won numerous awards for transparent
watercolor in juried shows. His painting of the Coast Guard
icebreaker Biscayne Bay toured the country in 1995 as part of the
COGAP collection. He has held a one-man show each summer in the
Traverse City, Michigan area since 1978 that often sells out. He
exhibits at these northern Michigan galleries: Art & Soul Gallery,
Acme; Blue Heron Gallery, Elk Rapids; Evergreen Gallery, Traverse
City and the Gaslight Gallery, Petosky. His studio is located on
the shores of beautiful Torch Lake in northern Michigan. Some of
