&
"Michigan Snakes"

Presentation:
"Michigan
Butterflies and Moths" -
Did you know there are 10 times more moth
species than butterflies? Can you tell the difference between a
moth and a butterfly?
Attend “Michigan Butterflies and Moths” and you'll be able to
tell at a glance. And you'll learn about the more common
butterflies and moths – where they live, how to find them, what
host plants their caterpillars eat, how they spend the winter,
as well as lots of other fun and interesting bio-facts.
Presentation:
"Michigan Snakes" -
Seeing live native Michigan snakes up close
and personal, festival-goers will have the chance to learn many
interesting facts about the snakes’ biology and ecology, and
individual species' habits and traits, and hopefully dispel many
of the fears and misconceptions of this fascinating group of
animals.
At the end of the presentation, eager participants will have the
opportunity to see up close, maybe even handle, some of the
snakes.
