The Kirtland's Warbler Recovery Team is comprised of scientists from the agencies and organizations that play a role in the management plan that is bringing our rarest warbler’s numbers to safe levels from near extinction. The Recovery Team meets twice a year on the KCC campus. Some of the agencies and organizations are: Michigan DNR, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Geological Survey Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Bahamas Department of Agriculture, The Nature Conservancy, Canadian Wildlife Service, University of Toronto Earth Sciences Center and The International Institute of Tropical Forestry.
